Ingredients (Per Serving)

  • 200g green moong dal

  • 100g amaranthus seeds

  • 30g chopped spinach

  • 2g fennel seeds

  • 1g red chili powder

  • Salt as per taste

How to Prepare

Step 1

Wash and soak green moong dal and amaranthus seeds separately for 2–3 hours.

Step 2

Grind both into a coarse paste.

Step 3

Add chopped spinach, salt, fennel seeds, and red chilli powder to the batter. Mix well.

Step 4

Spread the batter evenly on a non-stick tawa to form a cheela.

Step 5

Flip and cook properly on both sides until done.

Step 6

Serve hot with green chutney.
